Head of Sanatorium

Do you have a solid background in operation and people management, especially in the area of hospitality and have received some basic nursing or first aid training?

If your answer is YES, read further since we are looking for a head of sanatorium for our client in the beauty industry.

Our client is one of the top beauty brands originated in China. In 2014, their international group acquired Schwarzwald Sanatorium in Beilstein, Germany and they are looking for someone who can help them run the Sanatorium. The sanatorium is located in a beautiful area called Baden-Baden, which is locally famous for its pristine air quality and has a reputation of the most relaxing spa town in Germany.

The sanatorium is fully equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and a comprehensive spa center, ensuring a top-tier experience for customers. All in all, our client is determined to offer an exclusive wellness experience to all German/ European customers. Moreover, each month, a group of wealthy Chinese clients will fly directly to the Sanatorium for relaxation and tourism purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily management and operation of the Sanatorium, including personnel management, material management, equipment management and financial management.
• Determine the management system and process of the Sanatorium, improve the work procedures, to ensure that all work is carried out in an orderly manner.
• Responsible for the reception of the Chinese client group.
• Actively strengthen the linkage and cooperation of all relevant departments in Germany and give full play to the advantages and respective roles of the sanatorium and the local community, so as to complement each other.
• Collaborate with the chairman’s assistant for other work-related arrangements.

Qualifications:

• A solid background in operation and people management, especially in the area of hospitality.
• Have received some nursing or first aid training.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strongly skilled in stakeholder management.
• A mature, driven and hospitable mentality.

Salary: 8500 Euro/month (with other benefits and perks).

Starting date : as soon as possible

Note: this position will require you to work on one weekend per month since that’s when their Chinese clients stays for 9 days (7 nights) at the sanatorium. During other time, the working schedule is flexible, and it follows the German labour law.
