Hours: 40 hours per week

One of the largest suppliers of Asian A-brands in Europe is looking for a Team Leader Food Service. In this role, you will manage a client portfolio of mainstream food-service suppliers together with your team. This means that you and your team are dedicated to building sustainable relationships and expanding the existing network every day.

You will work closely with various departments, such as marketing, purchasing, and other sales departments. Additionally, you will have a lot of freedom and responsibility to shape your work. As a Team Leader Food Service, you will make plans with your team to approach new clients, build long-term relationships, and expand the product range. Most of the work is based in Kampen. However, we believe it is also important to regularly visit our clients, so business trips within the Netherlands and Europe are part of your role.
The Food-service team consists of multilingual account managers and several office staff members. It is a driven and experienced team with an atmosphere of open and direct communication.

What competencies are we looking for in our Team Leader Food-service?

  • Proven track record in the Food Service industry
  • Strong analytical skills: you can analyse what is working well and what can be improved, and you can create a commercial annual plan
  • Customer-oriented: you excel at building and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Energised by spotting commercial opportunities and pursuing them
  • Excellent at motivating and guiding people with strong persuasive skills

What do you need to perform this role well?

  • Business proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Business proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree level of thinking and working
  • Experience in sales activities: acquisition and account management
