Translations Team Manager

A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a Translations Team Leader to join a leading global investment firm in Dublin. This is a permanent, full-time in-house role, office-based Monday to Friday, with potential hybrid flexibility over time. You will co-lead an in-house European localisation team, overseeing quality, workflows, and delivery while partnering with another Team Leader. The role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Research, Sales, Legal and Compliance, supporting the firm’s international growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of in-house European linguists
• Coordinate localisation projects, priorities, and resources
• Drive linguistic quality, workflows, and best practices
• Develop tone, language and style guides for European markets
• Manage external translation vendors and reporting

Your background:

• Fluent English and a European language (in particular French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish)
• Degree in Translation or Linguistics, or similar (MA desirable)
• 5+ years’ leadership experience in translation/localisation
• Experience with in the financial or legal industries
• Strong knowledge of CAT tools and TMS platforms (e.g. Phrase, MemoQ, Trados)
