Our client, a market-leading international manufacturing company, is looking for a German or French speaking Business Development Executive for their office in Hertfordshire. In this role you will contact leads and build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients. This role has an immediate start, and although the client is currently working from home due to Covid-19, they will be returning to the office mid-June and as such the role will be office-based.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients
- Contacting incoming leads with enthusiasm, energy and efficiency
- Developing and qualifying leads through prospecting and research and identifying new business opportunities
- Passing product sales opportunities onto Outside Sales Representatives
The ideal applicant will be a confident self-starter with a competitive spirit and the desire to learn. This is a thrilling opportunity for a recent graduate with some previous sales experience and excellent German or French language skills to develop their skills and kick-start their career within a successful international organisation.
- Required to be fluent in German or French, both written and spoken
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in business development, sales or lead generation
- A polite, confident and friendly telephone manner and strong customer service skills
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Great team player who is also able to work independently
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office
- Experience with Salesforce is desirable
