Dutch or German speaking Accounts Payable Specialist

An Account Payable Specialist with fluent Dutch or German and English is urgently needed for a global company based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bilingual Accountant who is ready for a new challenging position with a wide international scope. The role would be to process and control transactions for the department and it will be offering a hybrid working model, with 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up suppliers accounts and responding to suppliers queries
• Allocating suppliers payments and direct debits against invoice
• Processing payments, month company credit card and expenses
• Other tasks as assigned

About you:

The ideal applicant will be responsible, organised, have strong analytical skills and have solid experience in a similar accountant payable/Purchase ledger role and knowledge of Oracle R12. It is a great opportunity for someone with fluency in German or Dutch to join a forward-thinking organisation and expand their knowledge on an international scale.

Profile:

• Required to be fluent in German or Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• (Part-Qualified) accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA or equivalent is desirable
• Previous skills in accounting, ideally in an Accounts payable/Purchase Ledger role is essential
• Knowledge of Oracle R12 is essential
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or ERP
• Hard worker and able to take full responsibility for Accountancy duties including Trial bookkeeping and management
• Must work in an organised manner and have good communication skills
