Hours: 20 hours per week

Are you passionate about shaping the future of sustainable energy and transport? Join our team as a Battery Testing Specialist and play a key role in the cutting-edge research in battery safety.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct hands-on experimental work in our state-of-the-art battery lab
  • Perform in-depth scientific literature reviews and web searches on battery safety, summarising your findings in clear and impactful reports.
  • Collaborate in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment that thrives on innovation, teamwork, and solving complex technical challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Background in chemistry, physics, engineering or related technical discipline: Prior experience with batteries or other electrochemical power sources would be a great advantage.
  • Lab Expertise: Hands-on experience with practical laboratory work. Familiarity with working with compressed gases and liquid solvents is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: capacity to handle experimental data by means of graphical and/or data analysis software. If, in addition, you have experience with analytical techniques like FTIR and gas sensors, it would be wonderful.
  • Communication: Proficiency in spoken and written English (B2 level or higher).
