German speaking Finance Assistant / Credit Controller

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience

German speaking Finance Assistant / Credit Controller

This German speaking Finance / Accounts Assistant will be based in the European Head Office in London. The German speaking Accounts/ Finance Assistant/ Credit Controller is a key position within the European Finance team and will be responsible for the pan-European accounts receivable function. Working closely with the Senior Finance Assistant and reporting to the Management Accountant, this position will have full responsibility for the credit control function for the German, French and other pan-European territories including the weekly management reporting of aged debtors.
The German speaking Finance / Accounts Assistant will also be involved in the annual preparation work for the statutory audit.

Profile:
Fluent German & English, written & spoken
Fluent French is an advantage but not essential
Finance/ Accounts graduate or equivalent preferably with credit control exposure (but not essential) who wants to gain experience in a fast paced finance environment.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word packages) are required.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements; as are strong communication skills and tenacity.
An ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales is a must.
Judgments and Decisions/Limits of Authority
Can prioritise their own workload using deadlines established by the Management Accountant

Contacts/Communication
The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with external and internal contacts. The post-holder should maintain honest and open communication at all times with individuals outside Vibrant Media and at all levels across the business.

Our client is a well-known international financial institution specializing in the settlement of securities transactions.

Role:
Bilingual Client Account Executive

Our client is currently looking for a Bilingual Client Account Executive to join their organisation. The role of the Bilingual Client Account Executive will be to provide exceptional service and support working within the International Fixed Income, Securities and Voluntary Corporate Actions dept. The Bilingual Client Account Executive will be involved in various projects dealing with Voluntary Corporate Actions, debt tendering processes and settlement securities. Further responsibilities of the Bilingual Client Account Executive will be to pro-actively survey investors with the assistance of other departments, analysing data, creating reports and providing advice and guidance to their respective clients. 

Profile:
Fluent written and spoken in English and one other western European language
A track record and solid experience within Securities and Voluntary Corporate Action within large financial institutions is essential for this role.
Solid experience in ‘corporate actions’, Proxy and /or ISS 
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills Applicants
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) relating to the report rating required for this role.
