Business Continuity Analyst (French speaker preferred)

Our client is a leading European Investment Bank.

Role:
The Business Continuity Department of our client is looking for a French speaker (ideally) with a background in operational analysis, operational risk or audit to join their international team.

The French speaking Business Continuity Analyst will be responsible for
assisting the business to ensure the currency of their business continuity plans;
assisting the IT to ensure the currency of their technical recovery plans;
maintaining the central repository of up to date documents eg. plans and recovery documentation;
producing BCP dashboards, KPIs;
maintaining the Group BCP website with the latest plans and information;
assist the study and implementation of the different resilience options open to the bank in order to provide the best solution to the Paris London platform;
implementation and maintenance of BCP solutions eg recovery facilities, crisis communications facilities;
assisting in the organisation and running of all BCP exercises and the subsequent follow-up of issues and reporting;
being part of the organisation’s incident response structure.

The French speaking Business Continuity Analyst will need
Good Standard of education eg A levels + or equivalent;
IT Literacy - knowledge and understanding of IT and competent user of MS Office tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint);
Demonstrable experience gained in an administration or coordination role within a BCP function;
Knowledge of corporate and investment banking;
Good interpersonal skills – ability to build good inter team relationships;
Strong leadership potential;
Making presentations, chairing meeting;
Values to include; transparency, accountability, commitment to excellence and client service quality

The French speaking Business Continuity Analyst preferably also have
Professional qualification eg Banking, BCP, IT, Audit;
Attendance at BCP courses , seminars;
Project management experience;
French language;
Working knowledge of project planning tools eg. MS Project;
Working knowledge of MS Access

The Business Continuity Department of our client is looking for a French speaker (ideally) with a background in operational analysis, operational risk or audit to join their international team.

Portuguese Speaking Assistant Manager - Accounts

The successful Portuguese speaking Assistant Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and control of departmental projects, cost analysis and taxation.
The Portuguese speaking Assistant Manager’s duties would include the maintaining, monitoring and preparing of account reports on all aspects of the accounts area, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Accounts department and the Branch as a whole.

In the absence of the Chief Accountant the Portuguese speaking Assistant Manager will be required to assume control of the Accounts area as a Deputy as well as to cover the Accounts Supervisor if necessary.

The future Portuguese speaking Assistant Manager will also be expected to develop, promote and implement accounting procedures and policies across the Bank, with emphasis on all new products and procedures.

Profile:

  • Portuguese to mother tongue standard
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Solid Experience within banking / finance preferably in a Senior Accounts role
  • Knowledge of Banking products, FSA Rules and Guidance
  • Proven leadership capabilities and quality focussed
  • Experience using Midas and iFlex systems is desirable
  • Motivated by completing tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Delivers to consistently high standard
