A dynamic language services company with clients in the IT industry is currently looking for a Translator with French to mother tongue standard and English.
The role is a combination of translation as well as project management. As a French speaking Translator and Project Manager your responsibilities will be planning, scheduling, monitoring and managing multiple translation projects, including selecting and assigning translation teams and coordinating translation process with translators and proof-readers/editors. In addition, day to day tasks will include translations from English into French, quality management and proof reading.
Technical linguistic consultancy in French, including advising the team on linguistic issues is required as well as assisting with the assessment of document technicality/genre. The translations from English into French are likely to be based upon IT terminology.
An interest and ability to master CAT tools and terminology tools, as well as internal office-automation software
