Mandarin speaking Category Manager (Food Industry)

Our client is an internationally recognised food company specialising in a wide range of East Asian Sauces. They are currently looking for a Mandarin speaking Category Manager to join their team in the European office based in Canary Wharf. In this role you will be to driving growth and development in the sauce and condiments category across Europe. This role offers a salary of £50-60K (depending on experience) with great benefits. They have a hybrid scheme in place.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute category strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead new product development from concept to launch.
• Analyse market trends and consumer insights.
• Collaborate with sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage category budget and optimise performance.
• Ensure compliance and quality assurance standards.

About you:

You would need to be a Category Manager, with mandatory experience in the Food and Beverage industry. You will have a strategic mindset, proven leadership, and a passion for innovation in FMCG.

Profile:

• Fluent English and Mandarin
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
• Experience in Category and Copywriting in the Food or Beverage industry
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in FMCG, with 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eligible to work in the UK and travel within Europe.
